Retreat House "To Do" List

Right now we need some skilled and unskilled labor for the following projects:

1.         Insulate and side the SE side of the house.

2.         Kitchen
            a.         Floor
            b.         Walls – prepare sheetrock and paint
            c.         Cupboard restoration
            d.         Cupboard installation
            e.         Wall surrounding stove

3.         Paint great room trim and ceiling

4.         Paint dining room

5.         Master bath
            a.         Install shower
            b.         Install tub
            c.         Install electricity
            d.         Refinish sink stand
            e.         Install sink stand/sink
            f.          Install plumbing for sink/tub/shower

6.         Full bath
            a.         Install shower faucet
            b.         Finish tile work

7.         Landscaping
            a.         Rake out raised beds
            b.         Trace down misting system and plug holes
            c.         Rake lawn
            d.         Take out N side raised beds and sow grass seed
            e.         Build wood fence
            f.          Build and install steps to deck
            g.         Trim trees/bushes
            h.         Move well tank

8.         Livery
            a.         Finish Chicken Junction
            b.         Build loft

9.         Trails
            a.         Clean out downed trees/brush
            b.         Surface with box blade
            c.         Rent backhoe and extend trails

10.       Paddocks
            a.         Harrow
            b.         Plant grass seed
            c.         Build fence in front fields

 

As you can see the list is quite extensive. Tim and Katie have been working diligently since they closed on the property in November, but there's only so much they can do by themselves. We are planning one workday a month, so if you can swing a hammer or paint brush, join the troops and help out with the projects planned for that day.

We'll be "up and at 'em" at 8AM and working until we're done. Lunch will be provided. Tools and supplies will be on site.
